Historic Broadway Smash, The Producers, at the Hollywood Bowl for 3 Nights Only!

The Broadway smash hit “The Producers”, returns to Los Angeles for a three-night engagement at the Hollywood Bowl. Adapted from the1968 movie by Mel Brooks, the popular comedy-musical is expected to sell out all three shows at the historic amphitheater in the Hollywood Hills. For the best luxury limousine service to any of the performances, Exclusive Sedan is the preferred choice to arrive on time.

The story centers around a struggling New York producer and his accountant who devise a scheme to present a Broadway flop, with the worst play ever written, with the worst actors and the worst directors, raise enormous amounts of money to fund the show in a one night performance, steal the $2 million raised and flee to Rio de Janiero. The original film starred Zero Mostel as the producer Max Bialystock and Gene Wilder as the accountant Leo Bloom, in the lead roles. Although it did not fare very well at the box office, director/screenwriter Mel Brooks won the Oscar for Best Screenplay for the movie.

Despite not having the widely popular duo of Nathan Lane and Matthew Broderick as the two lead characters from the original Broadway production, the Hollywood Bowl version is still certain to be a crowd pleaser. American actor Richard Kind, who is best known for his work in the sitcoms Mad About You and Spin City, will appear in Lane’s role as Max Bialystock and Jesse Tyler Ferguson who is best known for his role in the sitcom Modern Family will appear in Broderick’s role as the Leo Bloom. Roger Bart will reprise his role as Carmen Ghia from the film adaptation of the Broadway hit musical, while actor Gary Beach, comedian Dane Cook in his stage debut and the beautiful actress Rebecca Romijn round out the talented cast.

Susan Stroman, the Tony Award winning director for the original Broadway stage musical reprises her directing role at the Hollywood Bowl and also leads the choreography whereas Musical Director and Conductor Kevin Stites leads the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra, featuring Concertmaster Katia Popov.

It goes without saying that anytime a concert is held at the Hollywood Bowl, traffic can be a real nightmare, particularly when the Friday evening commute coincides with a show and first performance of The Producers is Friday July 27th. Hiring a reliable and dependable luxury limousine service to any of the shows is undeniably the best option. Exclusive Sedan is the perfect solution of all transportation needs throughout the Los Angeles area and in particular, to the Hollywood Bowl.
