Whether you are looking for something you can do with a loved one, friends, or the entire family, there will be no problem in finding multiple things to see and do in LA.

The following events are just samples of the many different venues scheduled for the 2015 Labor Day weekends in Los Angeles.

  • The Taste – Held September 4th through 6th, this extraordinary food and wine tasting has become a popular annual event. This year, The Taste will be co-hosted by Jonathan Gold, a well-known food critic. In addition to tasting, special seminars are available for a fee. 

  • ET – Another fun event planned for the Labor Day weekend in Los Angeles is the showing of Steven Spielberg’s huge hit ET. The film will be shown at the Hollywood Bowl September 4th and 5th at 8:00 pm and then again on the 6th at 7:30 pm.

  • LA County Fair - This is something everyone in the family will enjoy. The Los Angeles County Fair will take place September 4th through 27th complete with pig races, deep fried foods, live concerts, rides, and much more.

  • Fiesta Hermosa – If you enjoy arts and crafts festivals, this is one not to miss. During this Labor Day, the festival will be celebrating its 42nd Located in downtown Hermosa Beach, over 300 artisans will have jewelry, sculptures, paintings, and photographs on display September 5th, 6th, and 7th. You will also enjoy live music on two stages, a wide range of ethnic food, beer, and wine, and a carnival for the kids that includes a petting zoo and pony rides.

  • Queen Mary Shoreline Jam – On September 5th and 6th, the annual Shoreline Jam will be presented by the Queen Mary. This festival is vibrant and fun with different music genres including hip hop, reggae, rock and roll, and reggae fusion. The event begins at noon and continues to 11:30 pm.

  • BBQ at Terrine – No Labor Day would be complete without an authentic barbecue. On September 7th, you and the family can enjoy mouth-watering BBQ on the back patio of Terrines. In addition to more traditional flavors, there will be swordfish brochettes, hatch chili tacos, and pickle brine fried chicken.
