The party scene has been going on for a pretty long while during the summer, and with the nation’s 2018 Labor Day coming up, it’s the perfect opportunity to shower everyone’s efforts and hard work throughout the year with one last epic summer party! There are tons of ways you can choose to celebrate your last weekend, but if you’re thinking to join the crowd and live it up, you should definitely check out the events we have down for you below:


Los Angeles Fleet Week in San Pedro

It’s really not every day that you’ll get the opportunity to watch the US Armed Forces in action, and they’re going all out for L.A.’s Fleet Week at the Port of Los Angeles in San Pedro. You’ll get to enjoy public ship tours, watch breathtaking aerial demos and military equipment demos, as well as groove along to plenty of live music, food trucks and a STEM Expo.


Venue: Los Angeles Cruise Terminal, 100 Swinford St, Wilmington, CA 90744

Time & Date: 8:30 a.m. - 10 p.m (31 August - 3 September)

The Los Angeles County Fair

This fantastic event will be kicking off on August 31 and going on throughout the month of September, so get ready for lots of fun and laughter in the coming days. The family-friendly affair features live music and rides, plenty of livestock shows and gardening demos, as well as a showcasing filled with hundreds of gadgets. This year’s theme, "Get Your Kicks”, is in honor of Route 66, so you definitely know this is something worth going for.

Time & Date: 12 p.m. - 12 a.m. (31 August), 10 a.m. - 12 a.m. (1-2 September), 10 a.m. - 10 p.m. (3 September). The fair will also run till 23 September.

626 Night Market

Night markets aren’t exactly new, but when it’s hailed as the largest Asian-inspired night market in the whole of U.S., you’ll probably want a piece of that action. You can definitely look forward to sampling tons of innovative, delicious, and mind-blowing food creations and merchandise. With an average of 80,000 attendees per event, it’s going to one big happy crowd, and for the best experience, do bring enough cash.

Fiesta Hermosa

This happening arts and crafts festival will feature over 270 vendors, live music, and a kiddie carnival for the little ones to enjoy. It’s an annual celebration that lots of people look forward to, and it’s actually held once at each end of the summer. If you missed the event on Memorial Day or wish to experience the festivities yet again, you can easily drop by on Labor Day weekend this time round.


Venue: Hermosa Beach, Hermosa Avenue and lower Pier Avenue

Long Beach Greek Festival by the Sea

You can never have enough Greeks, and in Southern California’s thriving Greek population, you’ll be able to experience their rich heritage and fun-filled parties going on all throughout summer.
