Surfin' Beach Boy Style!

The Beach Boys, who helped shape the California surf music of the 60s, bring their 50th Anniversary Tour to the Hollywood Bowl on Saturday, June 2nd. Because of the enormous popularity of the iconic band from nearby Hawthorne, traffic to the show is expected to be a nightmare. If you are looking for the best luxury limousine service to the historic concert, call Exclusive Sedan, the Leader in Ground and Air Transportation in Los Angeles.

The Beach Boys started the band at Hawthorne High School, in the southern portion of Los Angeles and just minutes away from LAX. The original lineup of the band was comprised of the Wilson brothers - Brian, Carl and Dennis, cousin Mike Love and Al Jardine. The band burst onto the music scene in November 1961 with their first single, “Surfin” and quickly became household names. By the following year, they were one of the biggest acts in America and released a number of consecutive hit singles while sticking to the California themes of the beach, surfing and bikini clad girls.

The band has often been considered to be “America’s Band” and there is plenty of evidence to support that distinction. The Beach Boys have the most US Top 40 hits than any other American band and have sold over 100 million albums worldwide. They were even described as America’s answer to the Beatles during the height of their careers and their 11th studio album, “Pet Sounds” is considered to be one of the greatest rock albums of all time. In fact Rolling Stone magazine listed the album at #2 behind the Beatles’ Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band in the rock magazine’s 2003 list of the Greatest Albums of All Time.

The surviving members of the original band, Brian Wilson, who is the acknowledged leader and principal song writer, Mike Love and Al Jardine along with long time members Bruce Johnston and David Marks are expected to treat the fans at the Hollywood Bowl to a evening packed with memorable Beach Boys songs including “Surfer Girl,” “Little Deuce Coupe,” “I Get Around,” “California Girls,” and their biggest selling single of all, “Good Vibrations”, which is #6 on Rolling Stone magazine’s list of the 500 Greatest Songs of All Time.

The band is touring together for the first time in more than 20 years so this is one show that will be one of the year’s highlights of the concert scene in Los Angeles. Don't miss seeing what could be one of the Beach Boys last appearances in the city where it all started and cap the evening with a comparable experience in limousine service with Exclusive Sedan.
