The Wall is Off the Hook in LA!

The biggest musical event this week in the Los Angeles area is Roger Water’s concert at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum Saturday May 19th.  An original member of the British progressive rock band Pink Floyd, Waters will perform the band’s 1979 double album, “The Wall” in its entirety. Because the show is expected to draw in the excess 50,000 fans, one of the best options for transportation is choosing the best limo service in Los Angeles, Exclusive Sedan.

Pink Floyd was one of the most successful rock bands to come out of England during the 60s and 70s and the latter decade produced four critically acclaimed albums including their magnum opus “Dark Side of the Moon,” considered to be one of the greatest rock albums of all time, and capped the decade with their biggest selling album, “The Wall.”

Roger Waters was the principal songwriter for the band and sang virtually all of Pink Floyd’s most memorable songs. Among his best known songs were “Money,” “Us and Them,” “Have a Cigar,” and “Shine On You Crazy Diamond,” along with tracks from The Wall – “Another Brick in the Wall,” “Is Anybody Out There,” and “Comfortably Numb.” Collectively, Pink Floyd has sold over 200 million albums worldwide.

Earlier this year, Waters broke the attendance record for a concert tour in South America drawing 750,000 fans to his shows in Chile, Brazil and Argentina. The previous record holder was another British band, The Rolling Stones, who’s also known to break an attendance record or two for a concert tour.

Roger Water’s performance of the Wall at the Memorial Coliseum will feature a 240 feet wide, 35 feet high wall, along with the special effects that might resemble Pink Floyd shows from their glory days. While getting the rest of Pink Floyd together for another tour is uncertain, Roger Waters clearly was the leader of the band and his distinctive songwriting and singing will provide you with an evening full of memorable rock songs. By reserving limo service before and after the show, you can avoid most of the crowds and traffic because Exclusive Sedan will do the driving for you.
