All Aboard: Griffith Park Holiday Lights Train Ride

This activity is definitely suitable for the whole family (especially the little ones). The first ride departs at 5 p.m., but if you can’t make it, the last ride starts at 8 p.m. This miniature Southern Railroad train will be alighting with displays made up of thousands of lights.

If you’ve seen the streets of Beverly Hills in daylight, it still doesn’t compare with how it looks like with all the Christmas lights strung up. It’ll stay lit through the first week of January and you can easily view it along North and South Beverly Drive, Rodeo Drive and Canon Drive. You’ll also get to witness amazing geometric and iridescent light installations.

There’s Light at the Inn: Mission Inn, Riverside

If you’re not excited to view one of the nation’s largest display of lights, you should be. The setting in this historic, castle-like hotel will feature nearly four million lights. Look forward to seeing Santa Claus, horse drawn carriage rides, the world’s largest man-made mistletoe, and many more exciting displays and activities. You can pay a visit earlier on throughout the day and then skate to your heart’s content on the ice rink.

25th Annual WildLights

The 25th Annual WildLights happening at The Living Dessert Zoo is a marvellous concoction of lights and displays that totally transforms the zoo into a winter wonderland. If you’re a fan of reindeers, you’ll get the chance to visit them this time round.
