limo service los angelesThe Los Angeles region is large in size and has high-traffic periods. If you know what airport to fly into it can save you some time and money. There are 5 major commercial airports in total. The airports are spread throughout the region and include:

Los Angeles International Airport: It is located in the Los Angeles coastal community of Westchester in the southwest corner of the city and bordered by the cities of El Segundo and Inglewood. , It is the largest airport in Southern California, and one of the world's busiest airports. It is the major portal for international travel to and from this region and is the closest airport to the beach communities of Santa Monica, Venice, Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach, Redondo Beach and Malibu. It's located approximately 18 miles from downtown Los Angeles and 22 miles from Hollywood.

Bob Hope Airport: Also known as Burbank Airport.It is located in the city of Burbank at the eastern end of the San Fernando Valley and bordered by the Los Angeles community of North Hollywood.It is the closest airport to Hollywood, Pasadena, Universal Studios, and downtown Los Angeles. Only domestic (non-international) flights fly in and out of there, and it has two terminals.

Long Beach Airport: It is located in Long Beach, south of downtown Los Angeles. This is the smallest commercial airport in the region, and has only one terminal. This is the best airport to use if you are going to Catalina Island (via ferry). The airport is also close to the beaches of Long Beach, Seal Beach and Huntington Beach.

John Wayne Airport : It is also known as Orange County Airport and is located in the Orange County city of Santa Ana, southeast of Los Angeles, and bordered by Costa Mesa, Newport Beach and Irvine. This airport is closest to a number of theme parks which include Disneyland and Disney's California Adventure. It is also close to Huntington, Newport, and Laguna Beach.

LA/Ontario International Airport: It is located in the city of Ontario, in San Bernardino County, about 40 miles east of downtown Los Angeles. It is a good alternate airport, but offers limited international travel(mostly from Mexico). Ontario is convenient to San Bernardino and Riverside.
